In the summer of 2025, three young brothers, Nihaal (12), Akaal (10), and Dayaal (8), launched this initiative with a simple goal: to bring the community together for a day of fun while supporting an important cause. They hosted the carnival in their front yard and street with the cooperation of their neighbours and friends. It was a great success with over 200 in attendance and raised more than $2,500 for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1–6 p.m., Barrhaven Annual Carnival for Kids is B.A.C.K. and bigger than ever.

Join us at Larkin Park for a community fundraiser in support of CHEO. The park will come alive with music, games, henna art, face painting, bouncy castles, entertainers, food, CHEO mascot, and more.

This event is about more than fun; it’s a chance to come together as neighbours and make a real difference for kids and families in our region. Whether you’re coming to donate, volunteer, or just enjoy the day, every bit of support helps.
