Tree Giveaway!

Did you know: East and West Barrhaven were rated some of the lowest neighbourhoods in Ottawa with respect to our tree canopy?

Replenishing our tree canopy is vital! Ecology Ottawa’s Tree Giveaway Campaign helps address a diversity of important environmental and social issues, including reducing heat island effect (keeping us cooler throughout these hot summers!), improving air, soil, and water quality, and providing habitat for wildlife. Got space? Pick up a tree at the WBCA Fall Corn & Wiener Boil, Saturday, September 20, 2025, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Larkin Park, 76 Larkin Drive. Ecology Ottawa will have a booth at the event.
