Upcoming library programs

📌Kids and families - PD Day Friday, June 6th 

• 🎲  Game On! 10 am-noon: Play card games and board games at the library. Drop-in. Ages 6-12.  

• 🔨  Barrhaven Builder’s Club 2-4 pm: Join us as we will build, construct, engineer, and design using Lego, Meccano, K'nex, VEX Robotics, and more. Drop-in. Open to ages 5+. 

• 🐞 Borrow a Park or Museum Pass 

• 🎻 Visit Nepean Centrepointe and borrow a musical instrument 
   

📌Adults

• 💼 Employment Support at the Library. Friday, May 30th 10:30 am-12:30 pm: Drop-in to meet one-on-one with an Employment Counsellor from the Pinecrest-Queensway Employment Services team.    

📖 Other literary events happening in June

June is National Indigenous History Month! OPL is excited to present two Special Author Talks in celebration: 

•  💬 Michel Jean will be speaking at the St. Laurent Branch (515 Coté Street) on Thursday, June 19 at 7pm. 

•  💬 Phyllis Webstad will be speaking at Library and Archives Canada (395 Wellington St.) on Thursday, June 26 at 7pm.
