Wednesday, April 22, 2026 - 7:00pm Moderated by A Capital Mystery co-editor Mike Martin, the conversation will explore the craft of short fiction, the unique challenges and freedoms of the short story form, and the powerful role of place and lived experience in shaping compelling narratives.

Panelists will share insights into their creative processes and reflect on why the short story remains a vital and enduring literary form.
