City-Wide Sports: Hockey
Shoot and score this season with our women’s and men’s hockey leagues!
18+ Women’s hockey runs October 8 to March 4 between 9 to 11:50 pm at McNabb Arena.
35+ Men’s hockey runs October 8 to March 4 between 9 to 11:50 pm at Walter Baker Sports Centre.

Season launch – part two
Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe recently announced the second half of their 25/26 seasons. Enjoy everything from afternoons of live music followed by coffee and treats to explosive shows for kids and a variety of performances from local legends and international icons. Tickets are on sale now for Shenkman Arts Centre and the general on-sale starts next Tuesday, September 16 for Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe.
Ottawa Book Awards
Literature lovers mark your calendars! On Wednesday, September 17 we’ll be revealing the 2025 Ottawa Book Awards shortlist, recognizing the top English and French books from the previous year. Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 15 at 7 pm at an exciting event hosted by the Ottawa Public Library at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe!
